Neighborhood Watch Meeting UPDATE
Thank you to all who came to the Neighborhood Watch Meeting tonight. Bill Allen has graciously volunteered to be our new Watch Captain. His wife Janet will be the secretary, and we still need a Co-Captain to help them. Contact Gayle or Bill if you’d like to help.
Thank you to Officer Kane for presenting this program.
We plan on having our annual Watch meeting at our next Block Party, but it will also be on the agenda at the HOA meetings. The HOA plans on going door-to-door and getting everyone’s phone numbers and email addresses soon.
If you have any questions about our Willowbrook Watch Program, contact Bill Allen at 628-9926 or email him at

Halloween Parade 2011

We had over 175 people turn out for the parade & Spooky Hollow Hot Dog Feed (we even ran out of food for the 1st time!). It was a lovely -almost warm- night. The fire department started leading the parade until they got a call. So the Smedley family led us in their golf cart. Thank you SO much! And a big THANKS to Darryl & Megan for hosting the party in their garage.

Amon Basin Preserve Update
As warm weather begins, we hope you’ll enjoy looking for signs of spring in Amon Basin Preserve.
But also remember that Amon is off-limits to unauthorized motorized vehicles—ATVs, motorbikes, etc. We just called the police to report 5 motorbikes entering Amon at the southern entrance today by the Leslie railroad crossing. If you see any, please do the same. Call the non-emergency number at 628-0333—in fact, put it in your speed-dial.
Please also report anyone you see dumping yard clippings, garage cleanout, etc.
Finally, now is the time when native birds and animals begin to nest in Amon. Please be mindful to stay on the paths and control your dogs so that we can all enjoy this special time of year.
And mark your calendars for the annual Wildlands Walk at 9 am on May 14. Stay tuned for more info!
Thanks, Kathy 627-0950
