2012 Events

Willowbrook Community Club 2012 Newsletter

Hello neighbor! We have an exciting year planned for you. We hope that you will be able to participate in some or all of the events. You will be receiving this letter with your club form on your doorstep this week. Call me if you'd like to help deliver them. 627-5579.


Saturday, May 12, 9am, Amon Basin Wildlands Walk

Tours start at 9am and last one at 10am. Volunteers needed. See next two blogs below.

May 18 & 19, 8am to 2 pm both days , Community Wide Yard Sale

Please let us know if you are participating so we can advertise for you.

We will be doing a little Community Outreach this year. The Tri-Cities Food Bank will be setting up a collection can at each of our entrances. Encourage your friends to come & donate non-perishable food items.

Also, this year you will have the opportunity to donate your leftover yard sale items (clean and in good working condition) to either C.U.P. Church (for their Youth Missions) or Teen Challenge Thrift Store. Both will be glad to pick up your gently used items.

Contact Teen Challenge Thrift Store @ 547-2341 or C.U.P. Youth Minister Matt Williams @ 460-0617 to schedule a time and address to pick up.

July 7, Ice Cream Social, 7pm. Location TBA

August 18, Adult only Wine & Hors D’Oeuvre Event, 6pm TBA

Sept. 15 Block Party/ Pot Luck/ Movie Night, 5pm TBA

Oct. 31 Halloween Parade and Hot Dog Feed, 4pm start time.

If you would like to volunteer or host any of these events, please let us know.

The dues are still $10 per family. Please fill out the form, place it in an envelope, make your check out to “Gayle Garvie” and put it in the Willowbrook CC mailbox on Gayle’s porch @ 206 Sitka Ct. by MAY 1st- thank you! We look forward to seeing you this year!

BLOCK PARTY DATE CHANGE

The annual Block Party date has been changed to Saturday, Sept. 12. It will be a Hawaiian Luau theme and a movie night following.
